What is that ?
When drawing up the international order form for your items or products to be manufactured by your forwader, it is necessary to see the type of iNCOTERM selected for this sales contract.
The type of incoterm describes the share of responsibility of the buyer and the seller during the freight of the goods until their final destination.
The Incoterms 2020 are mainly organized into two categories: Maritime transport and other methods of transporting goods (air or other).
We show you the INCOTERMS most often used for the export of your articles or products.
EXW (Ex Works): The buyer bears all the costs and risks associated with taking the goods from the seller’s premises to its destination. The seller’s obligation is to make the products available on its premises.
FOB (Free On Board – port indicated): The seller must take care of the goods on board the ship designated by the buyer. The seller must clear the goods for export. The term is applicable for maritime and river transport only.
CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight): The seller must provide insurance against the buyer’s risk of loss or damage to the goods during transport. The seller is required to clear the goods for export.
